House of Mosara operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). House of Mosara is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the rules framed thereunder, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("IT Rules"). - Transaction information including the items you view, add to cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your past order history.

- Fulfil the purposes described in this Policy (e.g., processing your order, handling returns/replacements);
- Maintain business and tax records as required under applicable Indian law (generally up to 8 years for financial/transaction records); and
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements and policies.
Once no longer required, your personal information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights and Choices
As a data principal under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights in relation to your personal information, subject to applicable exceptions:

- Managing Communication Preferences — You may opt out of promotional emails/SMS/WhatsApp messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us. You may still receive non-promotional, transactional communications relating to your orders and account.

We aim to acknowledge all grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days, in accordance with applicable Indian law. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, as applicable.
International Transfers
While House of Mosara serves customers within India, some of our service providers (such as Shopify) may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are conducted in accordance with the DPDP Act and applicable Indian law.
